Initiative NameThis is where you name the initiative. An initiative could be a new channel development effort, a process change, new product offering and so on. This initiative process will provide you with a systematic way to implement and promote lean theory and six sigma disciplines into your operation at a strategic level. All initiatives should follow the development of a strategy that guides the initiative itself. That strategy should be guided by your strategic objective and or strategies relative to the initiative, i.e. a marketing strategy, product strategy, promotion strategy etc. This process will keep you on track and make sure you are working on the right things, not just trying to do things right, (which may be the wrong things to be working on.) Results In Our Customers WorldThis is where you list the Results your customer will receive from the initiative. If you initiative will produce results in your customers world it is worth doing if the other parts of the quadrant are also positive. Identifying results while eliminating waste helps you develop lean theory strategies within the development of all your initiatives. Benefits to Our CompanyWhat are the benefits your company will gain from this initiative? Without gaining some advantage you do not have a good initiative, just charity.
